Carlton Fisk

Carlton Fisk was a red sox player from 1961, and 1971 to 1980. He was elected to the All Star Game 11 different times. In 2000, he was voted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. He finished his career with a .269 batting average, 376 home runs, 2,356 hits and 1,330 RBI's. He played catcher. In 1972 he was voted American League Rookie of the Year. In the video below, it makes reference to his homerun in game 6 of the 1975 World Series. This homerun made contact with the left field pole. Because of this, the pole was named, Fisk Foul Pole.
